I think all fighters deserve credit.. everyone in these championship fights gets the same amount of time to train to what, fight one other person. They're training to be in a fight for a total of 36 minutes fighting.

Russel is an extremely talented and extremely intelligent fighter. I would give loma full credit.

oh yes i agree every fighter deserves credit, especially for a title fight.
but considering how gary russel jr is "not tested yet", will people say "loma is hype, gary russel bum, not tested fighter" etc etc..?
or will ppl actually give him full credit for grabbing that belt?

(all under assumption he wins decisively)

and on topic, somehow his amateur background gives everyone the idea that he has feather fists.. opinion? i thought his body shots looked pretty powerful

Both guys are talented yet untested for the most part.. It's a real 50/50, make or break type fight for both guys

I see it the other way. If Russell Jr is victorious people will say that he only did so because Lomachenko is green and has only 3 pro fights or because he had a California ref or something else ****** like that.

Bottom line: let the best man win. And whoever it is give him his just due and proper credit.
