    Undefeated super middleweight prospect Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez (28-0) is excited to be making his HBO and Macau debut on July 19th against Junior Talipeau. The fight takes place at the Cotai arena at the Venetian Resort and will be televised on HBO2.

    BoxingScene.com recently spoke to Ramirez and Hector Zapari, who manages and trains Ramirez along with his father Jesus. Zapari said that their training camp at The Rock Boxing Club has been great so far.

        This kid should be good. Aggressive lefty with a solid jab and straight. Also goes to the body well. I'm interested to see how he progresses.

            Great, finally making his way to the big networks . I'm excited to see him make his debut. Macau has been a welcoming venue for our Mexican boxers to be displayed. From Andy Ruiz Jr to Estrada and now Gilberto "El Zurdo de Oro" Ramirez. He is one of our better prospects and a beacon of hope for the higher weights. Now that Marco Antonio Periban let us down on 2 occasions,I hope some day Gilberto can finish capturing a belt for Mexico at this weight and add a new champion for a new weight class for the mexican boxing books.

                    Yeah, it's not like arum hasn't guided mikey, Chavez jr pavlik, oscar, manny, morales, cotto to superstardom

                    There isn't a better star builder in the game than bob arum..
