He said if Pac had agreed he would have wired him $20 million the day he signed the deal and the other 20 on fight night as they were entering the ring. Floyd said the way his deal is structured he can't give up anything more than a few points on the back end because he fronts a lot of the money for the promotion himself.

As far as live gate numbers and PPV buys they have changed drastically; they was neck and neck when the 1st negoitated; Manny got bamboozled into taking the Clottey fight with did 700k while Floyd went on to fight Shane which did 1.4 mil that alone changed how it was going to be from there on out it was no more 50-50 after that.

I made it clear that Mayweather is the bigger draw so what are you rambling on about? Enough with the past though, none of that matters now, both of them had close to equal numbers in their last fights.

It will open with an interview with Pacquiao at his presidential palace in the Philippines and then cut away to an interview with Floyd in his one bedroom apartment showing off his ankle bracelet after his 5th stint in jail talking about how he blew over $200 million in one year after he retired.

As a fighter, having $40 million dollars with no costs or no promoters taking a bite is a very, very lucrative offer.

Floyd would still have to pay his costs, promotional, venue, security and so on.

There's no logical way to question as to why Pacquiao would turn down such a ridiculous "flat fee" offer at the cusp of the most lucrative fight of all-time. Assuming the fight generates roughly 300 millions from the PPV buys and live gate, Pacquiao would basically be on the raw end of an 75/25 split.
