Comments Thread For: Spadafora To Return on 7/11, Targets Final Title Run

The Pittsburgh Kid, Paul Spadafora (48-1-1) announced on Monday his ring return, which is slated for Friday July 11th at Pittsburgh’s Rivers Casino. Spadafora, who is coming off a disputed loss and the first of his professional career, is expected to take on rugged Mexican veteran Hector Velazquez (56-21-3).

“This is it” stated Spadafora from his Pittsburgh based training camp, where he has been back in training for the past three weeks. “I promised myself I’d make one last run, I have a lot left and I still believe I have what it takes to win one of these world titles. The landscape of the 140’s is wide open right now, and I feel if I put a few wins together I can be right back in the hunt.”

I've always been a big Spadafora fan, I wish him all the best in his final run. Too bad Garcia isn't sticking around the division much longer, cause that would be a huge fight in Pennsylvania.

Spadawhora might not even beat Velazquez. He should go back to his old people that got him the title, not these current jokers.

                Spadafora comeback

I hope Spadafora gets himself right. Could be a really good trainer if he stays straight. He should not fight anymore in my opinion it's too late. His skills have diminished and never had real power. Fightingbvasquez won't help his career even if he beats him. That fight is just bout pumpin up vasquez who has yet to fight anyone....over rated! When he fights a real welter weight or junior middle hell get exposed. Look at his opponents

                    Tyson

Iron mike knows Spadafora would never fight vasquez. Spadaforas new handlers don't care bout him. Why would he fight Vazquez or Velasquez, makes no sense for spadaforas career, his handlers are clueless.
