DLH-Quartey had 2 good rounds. That wouldn't even make my top 10 PPV main event fights for the 90s

Bowe-Holyfield 2 was certainly better than DLH-Quartey. All 3 Bowe-Holyfield fights were far, far better.

No way it only had 2 good rounds,, that was an epic clash

What De La Hoya Quartey was great all the way thru; from when they exchanged knock downs and the furious rally late from Oscar; Bowe Holyfield 3 was rematch of two out of shape fighters.

What rounds were really any good besides 6 and 12?

It was a whole lot of standing and not enough punching. The exchanges were good, but FAR too few.

Rounds 6 and 12 were exciting.

Most of the rest was average. A good exchange here are there, followed by posing.

2 exciting rounds out of 12, and a couple of decent ones does not make a great fight.

Even DLH said afterwards "you really thought that was a good fight?" to Larry Merchant
