Comments Thread For: Kamegai: No More Language Barrier for Guerrero Fight

Yoshihiro Kamegai enters Saturday’s welterweight clash with Robert Guerrero hoping to erase the memory of his last trip to the StubHub Center in Carson, California one year ago.

Kamegai (24-1-1, 21 KOs) dropped a unanimous decision to Yohan Perez in a bout rife with issues in the corner. However, the 31-year-old from Tokyo believes he’s made the necessary adjustments to make sure the problems don’t resurface. [Click Here To Read More]

He's fun to watch and seems like a genuine guy, but I can't see how he wins this one.

Kamegai has a good chance, the ghost has turned into a celebrity. Him and his prima donna dad spend more time talking about the Mayweathers and not enough in the ring. Too many long lay offs are a sign, loss of interest. Turning down the Thurman fight is another sign, I don't believe Robert is getting paid more to fight Kamegai than Thurman, so it was a confidence thing, not disrespect. I think Kamegai is going to give the Ghost a big suprise.
