And there hasn't been a person in Morales' career that he didn't give trouble. Even on his comeback he proved he was still capable at a high level and Garcia beat him definitively twice.

It does seem as if he is trying to get a victory over Danny by proxy. By any means necessary. I think if the TS just let the loss sink in, he could move on to a new idol. Stringing the pain along is not healthy.
