That must make Froch the top 4th international superstar.

      1. Mayweather
      2. Pacquaio
      3. Canelo
      4. Carl "Genuinely International Superstar" Froch

how is it, we have a much smaller population than USA. Which is around 320 million. UK is around 70 million.

To put into perspective, there are about 10mil+ Sky TV subscribers, half of those are Sky HD subs, not sure.

Taking into account the 10mil figure, almost 10% of people who have Sky watched the fight on TV with a further few thousand probably watching on illegal streams. To put it into further perspective, never has this occurred in the US, where 10% of either HBO or Showtime subscribers have tuned in for a PPV fight.

          Suck it Americans!
Mayweather's PPV was $75 HD. How much did Froch-Groves 2 cost in $?

Edit: Just saw it was much less expensive. Still happy to hear it did that well though. Massive fight.

Solid numbers but at that price Floyd or Pac could do 2 millions buys easy in the states. Still good considering Groves is not really a big name.

It's funny. Not only does England care about boxing way more than America, but your PPVs are priced at 1/3 of the amount. No wonder boxing is alive in one country and dead in the other.

How do you attract new fans to your sport when the premier fights costs $75 to watch? America is losing, Britain is winning.

                  I won't believe those figures.

Sky religiously don't give out their numbers.

                      Yes - It's private business.

That has always been their mantra, and I doubt anyone who works with/for Sky would give out that information as it would be a breach of their contract.

So, as I said, I sincerely doubt those numbers are real - first and foremost because I know nobody at Sky would release those figures and only very people in the organization know them. Secondly, because I don't think it did 900k. or close to that.
