Dunno, it's the IBF. Unless they're in talks to make the fight, they won't give him the unification OK.

They seem to be following their rules the closest... so odds they'll call a purse bid of Stevenson's team and Hopkins's team aren't currently working out a deal and are close to closing it. Purse bid is set for like July

Here is how I see it - any man who is willing to step in the ring at almost 50 years old, has already proven to me that he fears NOTHING. I truly hope Hopkins never gets badly hurt in what remains of his career, but I have no doubt he would fight anyone for the right pay. I just wish he would retire because I think he would make a great trainer.

They wanted a fall fight anyways; it has nothing to do with Schaeffer because his supposed non-compete only applies for the State of California.
