  • Comments Thread For: Klitschko-Pulev: K2 Outbids Sauerland, Wins Purse Bid

Any concerns from Kubrat Pulev and his handlers over whether or not Wladimir Klitschko was willing to face him were emphatically answered during Tuesday’s purse bid hearing in New Jersey.

Klitschko’s K2 Promotions secured the rights to promote the heavyweight championship bout, submitting a winning bid of just over $7.25 million. The amount was more than 25% greater than the next highest bid, which came from Sauerland Event, Pulev’s promoter who offered over $5.29 million.

Why wouldn't a fight between the HW champ and his #1 challenger be any more than a ESPN fight?

They covered Klitschko-Povetkin which was virtually the exact same status of fight.

So what's your answer for why they didn't screen his other last 10 fights?

Lol @ trying to be clever with the same type of response.

You are on ignore by me so normally I wouldn't have looked at your dumb post or respond but the action has been lacking today so I decided to.

              Here goes:

They covered Klitschko-Povetkin and Klitschko-Haye fights which were virtually the exact same status of fight.

              Not next........

              .....the end.

Glad to hear this is coming into fruition. Pulev earned his shot and this should be a good fight.

All the nonsense and politics aside, Pulev is the legitimate #1 contender for the world title and he deserves his chance. Whether or not he can be competitive is another matter, Wladimir being so far superior to the rest of the division.

You responded to my post because you saw it through your other alts.

Now to answer your question. HBO saw Haye and Povetkin as the main attraction. Now explain why these big American networks don't screen Grabimir when he's the main headline???
