      plus all the viewers it got from overseas, everyone saw the screwjob even if they cant add points up and think algeri actually won cause he controlled the middle rounds.

          Algieri is highly likable, has a Master's degree in nutrition (my wife does too), and has clients so he has a nice backdrop and will easily develop a strong fanbase. Nothing but good vibes from him.

            Once Showtime supersede with subscribers, it's no way HBO will keep it in millions especially with how little interesting the fights are.

            I have both subscriptions so I'm going to watch both either way but it's about the casuals.

                its not cause a lot of the viewers on those networks are just fairweather boxing fans that want to see a fight and most people pick hbo cause it has more to offer as a network.

                    That will never happen. Most subscribers have HBO for the shows. Hence all Emmys. I have both also. I only have showtime for boxing.

                      Closest in recent years was Rubio/Chavez Jr I think at 1.9M

                      Also lol... looks like now, once you beat the man, you become the man....
