Frank Warren has been a piller of british boxing for over 30 years - whether you love, hate or nothing the man he has always been the leading promoter. he is a fighter in his own right, hes the guy that took on the established british promoters like Terry Lawless who had an unhealthy stranglehold on the industry and slowly and effiiciently saw them off. It is because of frank that we have the outstanding safety measures in place at all regulated british fights after the BBboC nearly went out of business after being sued by Micheal Watson who sustained his terrible injuries ironically in a fight Hearn Snr Promoted....It was Frank that saved the day and underwrote the debt funnilly enough Hearn Snr and his cheque book where nowhere to be seen..

Eddie Hearn is young and fresh guy and I like his general attitiude but he is no Frank Warren. He is a man who relies on Sky money to deliver his events and wont take risks...Frank is the oppoosite..he often invests heavily in fighters and pays them the highest wages in british boxing, expectly guides fighters thrugh their careers to give them the best chance of acheiveing the maximun to their abilites...the man who has delighted british boxing fans by creating Box Nation a channell that 4 years ago we could only dream of him..

To an swer the thread - Frank Warren will never quit and I would lay money on it that he will outlast Eddie just as he did Hearn Snr who ****ed off from boxing to concerntrate on darts and snooker etc and credit to him he became a tremedous success..Whilst boxnation exists Frank is in control of his own ship - unlike Hearn who if Sky tv pull the plud or reduce his tv dates hes scrfewed simple as really

Not a fan of Warren but i do like him for his BoxNation channel. Gets most of the big international fights that wouldn't normally be broadcast over here. It's cheap as well.
