    WBA/IBO junior welterweight champion Jessie Vargas (24-0, 9KOs) is currently in the middle of his training camp for his August 2nd clash against undefeated challenger Anton Novikov (29-0, 10KOs). While he is focused on Novikov, Vargas said that he was impressed with Chris Algieri's victory over Ruslan Provodnikov to capture the WBO title this past Saturday night.
