    Toe2Toe or SweetScience

If you had the opportunity to see a live boxing match between 2 hardcore boxing style fights. Both fights taking place the same night. Which one would you choose to go see? Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman or Floyd Mayweather vs Amir Khan?

a lil bit of both is the perfect combination.

    Think Erik Morales.

they are both good match ups but floyd is scared of khan i can't see him ever fighting him.. he'll probably fight someone else khan already beat like luis collazo or julio diaz, just like he fought maidana (who khan beat easy) and ortiz (who khan knocked out in the ams)..

floyd is a great boxer but a proven pusee

        Pac vs Thurman for sure

Although Khan isn't a "Sweet science" fighter. He's just a very fast fighter and he actually does go toe to toe... Which is why he's been KO'd so badly. He's not very good at going toe to toe but he still does it when he should focus on outspeeding then clinching, repeat, repeat.

Is this not toe-to-toe sweet science all in one?

There's just not enough fighters that fight like this anymore.

True Khan isn't sweet science but Mayweather is. Most likely it would be a hit n don't get hit fight.

Boxer Punchers, boxer that actually boxes in the pocket, face to face chess match. I love all types though, I just ****ing hate when they run. This is a man's sport!

People are making a distinction between a fighter who goes toe to toe, face first brawler exxentially and the so called sweet scientists or technicians or slicksters or what ever new term idiots have come up with. The fact is, both these type of fighters are different styles of boxing but boxing none the less.

A guy who is aggressive, hits hard and likes a brawl is still a boxer as a guy who is quick on his feet and good defensively, it's sad that we have so many uneducated boxing "fans" chatting **** all day long on the internet that they don't fully understand this simple reality.

Is Ruslan a brawler? Yes. Is he a boxer? Obviously. The guy has decent skill at cutting off the ring but Algieri was just better on the night, quicker and with a better jab, plus his size most definitely helped. If you saw a guy standing at 5'6'' trying that same ****, Ruslan would eventually have caught up with him, just look at the Bradley fight.

In terms of who I would watch, Il ike guys that can do it all, SRL, Ali, Hagler, Pacquiao, Holyfield, Barrera, Morales, Nonito etc

I'd rather see Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman. However, I like a toe to toe fight just as one involving the "sweet science".
