He has an allegiance to Haymon basically because he has a contract with him duhh. Haymon's job is to get Porter the biggest fights possible regardless of what promotion they choose to work with.

He is not a GB fighter. It means that GB is the only promotional company that will distribute his fights as of now because he is under a contract for his next fight coming up. But he doesn't belong to GB as a fighter.

I hope Haymon gets hit by a car and perishes. Really don't see a purpose for him, but the again, some boxers aren't smart enough to function on their own.
