*I've been to a couple, crowd pretty mild. Though the theater I usually see it at, isn't showing Canelo-Lara .. McBummer
what I've noticed though is the ticketing has been very inconsistant. First fight I saw @ theaters was JMM-Mayweather for $15
then for Mosley-Mayweather ticket prices went up to $25, so I saw it on PPV at a friends place oppose to the theater
I guess the $25 tickets didn't work well because for Mayweather vs Ortiz it was down to $18 at theaters. Similar for Mayweather vs Cotto/Guerrero and last year vs Alvarez. Saw all at Movie theaters, same venue for $18
and earlier this year I saw canelo-Angulo for $15, but the price went back up to $25 for Mayweather vs Maidana
small sampling, but personally I feel if the price is $20 or more a movie theater puts themselves at a disadvantage for showing the fight
as why spend $25 on a ticket, when you can spend the same amount on food/beverages?
Yes it's nice seeing it on the big screen, but pricing makes a big difference.Comment

Please stop trying to force feed Canelo to the public as a PPV star. This is a Showtime fight. I'm going to cancel my subscription if they water down the non-PPV fights.Comment

I've watched pretty much all of Floyd's recent fights at the theater and I like it. Its a very mild atmosphere here. But I live in Nashville, where boxing isn't that popular and is usually only 1/2-3/4 full for the main event and there usually isn't 20 people in the damn thing for most of the undercard. Which is excellent for me because I'm actually really laidback and don't like rowdy environments. And I'm also not much of a people person. So unless I have friends that go with me. Its easy to find a seat pretty much away from everybody where I don't have to interact with folks and can just enjoy the fights. It's not quite home. But for a third of the price or less, I've become a regular.Comment

$17 for an adult ticket, $16 for a student ticket. Tremendous deal. I tried the theater for Mayweather-Maidana and it was great. Huge screen in HD. Only negative is you gotta sneak liquor in if you prefer to drink during a fight, but you can't go wrong with the theater.Comment

The last time I saw a PPV at the theaters was Floyd vs Ortiz. Its pretty awesome seeing boxing on that big screen. Erik Morrales fought Cano and Cano's fight was a bloody mess.
The theater was probably less than 1/3rds full and everyone got pissed when Floyd suckerpunched him. Waste of my $18 bucks
And the lady that sold me my ticket asked me who I was going for. I said "Ortiz."
She said me too, and that everyone has been sayiing that.
I told her its cuz hes a cherrypicker and ducking and dodging Pacquiao. She said she loves Pacquiao. Cool ladyComment
