Why did Marquez lose that fight. Because Manny outlanded and outworked him. Now isn't that the same thing that's being said for Algieri, that he outlanded and outworked Ruslan?

So for those who cried about Marquez, why are those same people not giving it to Ruslan?
Pacquiao was landing the higher percentage of jabs and power punches big difference.

      right?

In all of those fights, there were more punches landed with higher output right?

At worse, Ruslan vs Algieri should've ended like Wolak vs Rodriguez 1, a draw
No doubt Ruslan lost. They were more than touches. The punches were meaningful just not deadly.

For the record I had the following:
      Pac over Bradley
Paulie slight edge over Broner (mostly due to being the champion so I probably could have given him the draw).
      JMM over Pac (III)

Algeri landed more punches and more power punches. I guess if you land 30 power punches they should overlook the 190 punches or times you got hit. The champion is supposed to have the belt taken from him......Or you can score more points and win more rounds by landing almost 200 punches while the other guy swings wildly and misses, but he swung hard so I guess the ineffective aggression should win you a match.....which also explains why he lost.....its called effective aggressiveness not ineffective aggressiveness

Im confused.. because I thought this site was full of hardcore fans and Im still baffled that people dont understand that "landing the harder shots" doesnt win you a boxing match. When you guys say stuff like that its as if you are discounting the entire meaning of boxing, and thats something a casual would say.

This wasn't a robbery. Algieri earned the decision. He outboxed Ruslan. People need to get over this, and I'm a huge Provodnikov fan. I picked him to win in 5. I'm upset he lost, and I can easily say he was robbed, but that's just not true. The better man won that night.

I think Provo is overrated and 1D.....but I scored the fight for him....if Bradley had lost a 10-7 round...no way you could've scored the first fight with Pac for him...different type fights imo

Manny was the aggressor he was taking lead and pushing the action not really the case here since ruslan was stalking and pushing Algeri onto the ropes continuously
