Matthysse is not a Brawler at all I consider him more of a BOXER/PUNCHER but I always considered Matthysse to be more versatile than Maidana who is a BRAWLER.

Lucas is a BEAST.....Chino is a WARRIOR.....proper respect has been earned!!....Lucas went 12 strong with my boy Swift and the respect grew....I know Maravilla fell off but the Argentines are still in the game....I think Chavez will beat Rios and then the Argentine double pack can become a triple pack once again

Lucas is a bad boy!!!...for real!!

Lol - Matthysse is exactly like Provodnikov in the way they're both unable to secure victory after dropping opponents. They have no 2nd gear, and the way Matthysse stood infront of Molina tells me he'd be a sitting duck for Provodnikov's overhand shots. Maidana has done good for himself but lets not forget that he almost got beat by Corley and old Morales, and that he got absolutely schooled against Alexander in a much worse performance than Provodnikov has ever put out.

I agree with that...but I can also Lucas busting him up with heavy right hands and getting the type of respect that noone has gotten yet....Lucas stops him in a modern day classic imo

Also the clinches he employed on Mayweather to hold him to get off shots were countered with short uppercuts, nothing he did was effective besides a beautiful jab and a cut from a clash of heads.
What a crock of crap. Just because Mayweather knows how to play down a shot, that doesn't mean he wasn't feeling it later that night when he wasn't mugging for a camera.

Maidana only landed a jab effectively.... Lmao. Not to mention body work, hits on the side and top of May's head... Overhand rights in the center of the ring.. A crisp uppercut...left hook, And even a overhand right that hit May in the middle of a pull counter...

But he only landed a jab doe.

Provo will redeem himself next year, im looking forward to him fighting Matthysse and retire the argentine, unlike Algieri, Matthysee won't run, a perfect style for Ruslan.
