I doubt there will be but there should be. Close fight and Ruslan gave him a shot so Chris should give him one. But I'd rather see him in there with Postol, Matthysse, Herrera, or Garcia.

People that voted no probably did so because they don't want a fighter they like get beat in a rematch.

And they are fans of him because he is a fellow white American.

They are the same fans that criticise mayweather for running but when Algeri does it, it's fine.

      Generally speaking.

Don't have any desire to see a rematch. But i would back Algieri to beat him again, more convincingly than the 1st time.

jas, come on homie. I was one of the ones that picked Ruslan BY STOPPAGE. I love Ruslan, it's hard not to root against him, but he showed he's very limited. If you can take his power, you'll beat him! He made Algieri look like Floyd in there at times. I'll eat my crow man, but you're not eating yours. You said this too...

Algieri would dominate him even worse next time, I mean Ruslan hardly won any rounds in that fight.. if he hadn't knocked down Algieri in the first round then you could easily say that Algieri was fighting a BUM, that's how bad Ruslan looked from rounds 2 to 12!

No because Ruslan has an article out right now asking the question "how did he win all he did was run", from that statement he is surely not going to adjust if there was a rematch. Head hunting like he did this weekend is a sure loss more than likely an ever worse loss.

A rematch? Sure. An immediate rematch. No, for a couple of reasons. First, Algieri exposed Prodonikov as a one-dimensional fighter, which is what made the Alvarado fight such an interesting match up. Ruslan has to work on his boxing, or he's going to find the same outcome with other guys who can move. The Bradley fight was so entertaining because Bradley chose (or was dragged into) Providnikov's fight. It might have been a different outcome had Timothy boxed. Ruslan himself acknowledged that he has problems with guys who move. For now, I would rather see him (RP) in the ring with Rios. Secondly, considering the slim chance we all gave Algieri, I would like to see him defend against a more well-rounded opponent.

Absolutely agree that Rose had no business being in the ring with Andrade and should not have been the main undercard. Max Kellerman had it right, when around the 6th round, he said, "I've seen enough."

The Champion deserves a rematch after a controversial decision.

                    The fight wasn't boring either.

Posters are condoning ducking because they fear Ruslan will win the rematch.

Agree with most of your post except for this. Providnokov wasnt exposed. We/I already knew he was one deminsional.

Also, why not an immediate rematch? Provo was the champ.
