This is the first match up that came to mind right after the decision was read...

Nah, just because a fight is close doesn't mean we need to see it again. I think a rematch could go either way but I don't care to watch it again. Let Algieri defend his title against a guy like Herrera or Postol and let Provodnikov do what he does best and that is go to war with someone. I'd much rather see him in with a guy who is looking to trade. Provodnikov vs Rios would make my mind explode

YES, Yes and yes!!! At the very least, it will stop all the keyboard judging on this sight! Just kidding! The rematch "should" clearly decide the better fighter. I put should in quotes, after all it is BOXING!

2 different styles and the rematch could go either way or the same as the first fight.

IMHO, I would give Provo the nod in the rematch just because he has the better team. "Rocky" should've finished Agieri on Sat. Props to Agieri for getting back up and doing his thing. I was actually rooting for Agieri in the fight because of all the hype leading up to the fight. Dude got heart!

Provo is not done, by any stretch of the imagination. Kid is still young and he was not hurt at all. Agieri looked like he got beat by the cops who did a # on Rodney King.
I am sure Roach and company will tweak the game plan a bit to get the W in the rematch. But you just never know.

If I had to bet, I would put my money on Provo. He had the fight all but won but did not finish.

I agree with this about the body work, and I'm on the fence about wanting to actually see it though.

I would say no,only cause Prov does not seem to want a rematch..Not to mention I did not disagree with the decision..I would not mind seeing a rematch at all..I also would not blame Algeri for moving on,I almost expect this to be the move he makes anyway..

Absolutely there should be an immediate rematch. It makes sense in every way. I hope team Algieri is game for this. If not, they are ducking Provodnikov.
