Boxrec jumps the gun at times, but that should be a WAR if it comes off.

Man good ****ing fight right? But think about it.

He just got Ko'ed by Cotto
He's risking getting Ko'ed against Lazcano

Whats with putting this guy against such good opposition? Opposition with better oppositon and experience than himself for one,and oppositon against whom a KO is likely.Torres could have a great future or he could go the way of fighters who got put against top fighters way too early.

Yeah Torres has like 30 fights but he cant learn anything from those fights if most of them were against nobodies.

          Good fight.Bad career move.

(Torres could of course make his career with this one win,but lazcano has good power far far beter experience,I just dont see it.)

the hispanic causin' panic is done ... @ 140 he couldn't dissuade tackie from doing anything, ricardo showed a good outing vs cotto ... but he'd have my money for the simple fact that i still think that castillo ruined him (lazcano) when they fought. juan took one serious beating that night.

            torres UD.

I think you might be right...Juan still hasnt recovered from his beating by Castillo and it takes more than a KO victory over Courtney Burton to porve otherwise.

It's not like Tackie is an easy man to get rid of. He's only been down once in his career and even then he tripped against Mitchell. I don't think he's ever been stopped before and he's faced Tszyu and Hatton.

I'd take Lazcano in a war. He had a tough fight with Tackie but damn near everyone has a tough fight with Tackie.

I dont think there is any shame in not stopping Ben Tackie-he is just about impossible to hurt but post Zoo Takcie has increasingly looked like a completely shot fighter...Lazcano should have in my estimation looked better then he did against what I percieved to be a corpse with a GREAT chin in Ben Tackie.

i say torres puls off the TKO and goes on to KO cotto, if he can do that well on short notice agasint cotto i can imagine what he can do with a full time to prepare, unless his stamina really is bad like we saw in the cotto fight and he cant improve that, this guy is gonna rock a few worlds with that right hand
