Lets make this fight and call it "Veteran's Day" and just get it over with and let the son beat up his pops he so wants to be like.

Hopkins said he can still go to 160 for a fight if he had to so just go down to 168 and fight Ward who is more accomplished than ***** ass Adonis Stevenson.

I don't think Hopkins needs Ward right now. . Much the other way around tbh, Ward's inactivity is really hurting his legacy

Your sig of toney busting up Barkley is sick,, James had atg talent

Anyways, about the thread.. I really don't want to see Hopkins vs ward, I understand your point and logic but ward would be too young and skilled for Hopkins and would be about as competitive as Hopkins vs Dawson, Taylor 2.

Hopkins Floyd is so intriguing because Hopkins has a chance to best the smaller Floyd.

Hopkins said he won't fight Ward flat out

It would also be excruciatingly boring

Ward also wouldn't fight Dirrell because they were friends in the middle of a tournament that they both signed up for and got paid for knowing they would have to fight each other. Anyone else he's done that with?

No it won't be. When two skilled boxers meet they are forced to out do each other, of course if they decide to go to a hugfest, yes it will be.

If somehow, someway they managed to fight without clinching (it is possible, go watch the Toney-McCallum fights) and just BOXED TOE-TO-TOE it would make for an extremely pleasing chess match.

Hopkins has this sport by the balls. He doesn't need anyone, he has surpassed ALL of his peers by leaps and bounds.
