I'm still sticking with Herrera. He outworked him badly those feather dusting arguments don't apply because he f'ed up Provo's face pretty badly too.

I would agree. Because even though I haven't seen the fight I have seen the Bradley and Algeiri fights and they could have both gone either way so I'm going to have to say Herrera by default.

              Close fights are not robberies.

Provodnikov will either F you up badly or fight just as good as you. So if you can beat him clearly, you are a pretty damn good fighter. I will go with Herrera, he clearly had the easier time with him but of course in general the fight was not "easy", easy is relative when it comes to Ruslan.

It's been a minute but I remember Herrera clearly winning. I remember at the time thinking Ruslan would never get past headlining Friday Night Fight cards. Then of course he nearly killed Bradley and that changed everything.

Also, I like to remind people that Ruslan vs Bradley should have been a draw, but the ref incorrectly ruled a clear knockdown a slip. This was the first round I believe when Bradley was doing somersaults lol.

I blame compubox for helping spread the myth that Provodnikov was robbed against Herrera. Not even getting into the murky punches landed territory, compubox' punches thrown for Provo was absolutely disgraceful. The numbers were nowhere near close to reality. Compubox even had the cojones to claim Provo out-jabbed Herrera.
