lucas and ruslan are about the same caliber of fighter.. they are very one dimensional and dont make adjustments, if you can stay away from the power, you have a great shot at beating them... guys like margs and castillo were much better because they had better shot selection and attack from different angles, whereas ruslan, lucas basically come straight forward in a direct line,, hardly any angles or diverse shot selection

This is just way of base. Matthysse adjusted beautifully in just his last fight. He's aware of defense. Has better stamina. Can box to a degree. Doesn't pause or hesitate when being hit. I could go on and on. Provo is THE prototypical one dimensional fight. He never does anything different. EVER.

His defense is only his footwork. His punch resistance sucks because in just one round his eye was almost closed. His chin sucks because he shaked every time punches landed on his gloves and looked hurt the few times Ruslan caught him flush. Matthysse and Garcia both stop him.

Thats the exact fight I thought of when I saw this thread. They move similarly, I give Algeri the hand speed advantage but Ajose the punching power advantage. Also Ajose the punch resistance advantage, that man took bigger shots and stayed on his feet in that fight better than anyone I've ever seen. I couldn't figure out what was keeping him up. He ultimately went down late but dude has an iron chin

This is a joke right? Please do me a favor and rewatch Matthysse-Molina, the guy adjusted and fought on the inside taking away Molina's big punch, also he threw punches from about every angle possible. His stamina and punches thrown are also off the charts compared to Ruslan. They are completely different fighters
