Will Vasyl Lomachenko receive fair officiating in California?

We all saw what happen in Texas, with referee Laurence Cole permitting Orlando Salido to punch Lomachenko in the genitals as much as he wanted to.

I have a bad feeling Lomachenko will be treated unfairly this coming Saturday, by the judges on the scorecards and/or by the referee during the fight.

Hopefully the California referee Jack Reiss will not be working the fight, he's as bad as Laurence Cole.

What footage have you seen that leads you to believe that Gary Russell Jr. is a dirty fighter?

If you don't believe he is a dirty fighter than what role can the ref play that will play into Russell's advantage?

        There are many examples.

        - admonish the visiting boxer or even deduct points for perfectly legal blows
        - not count knockdowns
        - protect the home fighter by giving him time to recover when he's hurt
        - let the home fighter hold when he's hurt
        - give the home fighter an early/quick stoppage/TKO

        etc.

russell isnt even that physical of a fighter. hes a head hunter, he fights at mid range and he rarely holds, or goes to the body. hes all about handspeed and foot placement/work. im confused as to why this is an issue.

California is much better than texas....

I hope its a fair fight, but i honestly think russell jr will outpoint lomochenko and it will be pretty clear..
That handspeed will be too much for lomochenko, though i think he will rally late, it will just be too little too late, and russell gets a decision

Lomachenko has seen almost every style in the amateurs and olympics. He's seen fast hands before this fight will be his coming out party. He will beat Russell down
