So what's next for Provodnikov? Possibly a matchup with Matthysse?

I think a Rios-Prov fight would be a hell of a fight to make at this point.

Ruslan doesn't like "runners", aka guys who outbox him, so I doubt he wants a rematch.

Ruslan vs Rios or Matthysse would be straight up wars.

Probably the kind of fights where they would leave so much in the ring they'll never be the same again. I'd pick both Rios and Matthysse to beat Ruslan.

Provodnikov is 30 and Matthysse is 31 so both are practically at the twilight of their career. They haven't preserved themselves enough to go into their mid 30s on an elite level. They may as well go out towards the end of their career with a **** and give the audience a potential fight of the year!
