There are documentaries about this in particular. Some of the most powerful people in the world live in New York City's Park Avenue. And these same people, if you saw them in person, you'd never know. They are anonymous to many people.
This might make sense if you are doing business in a different field but in the sports and entertainment industry it would seem like you would need a good public image/reputation/persona and it can only make you stronger.

Haymon is not a fighter though!

The fame does not benefit him. He is by default, in a behind the scenes position. Those that you see like Arum, Schaefer, King, etc, put themselves in these kind of positions because they want to and enjoy the spotlight. But that spotlight comes with as many disadvantages as it does advantages.

Haymon has no interest in being the Sean Puffy Combs of the boxing world. Haymon likes being a maker of Kings, but not the King. Read The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli. It'll help you understand a bit better.

No **** Sherlock im saying look at Mark Cuban. He is where he is cause of not only his business smarts but his personality, his image, his reputation.

Who do all the people really want on Shark Tank to work with? EXACTLY. Do they really want those other more quiet unknown guys or do they really want Cuban?

        They all want Cuban.
