Artie Pelullo of Banner Promotions, who handles WBO junior welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov (23-2, 16KOs), loves the idea of facing Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38KOs), the WBO champion at 147-pounds, in the fall.

Later tonight, Provodnikov will defend his title for the first time against undefeated Chris Algieri at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Pacquiao is scheduled to return on November 22nd, likely in Macau, China.

Seems like this promoter just wants the fight to make money, dude its an awkward fight because they are both stablemates, you make Roach choose between two, Also most of Pac fans are Ruslan fans, so its one of those fights you hate to see because you like both guys.

and Danny Garcis vs Rusland unifier at 140

Yup it is a money, retirement fight for Prov. They won't even punish each other as they are good friends. Algieri is feed for the shark. Provo's gonna look good tonight to justify a farce Pacquiao fight.

I think Provo should have a rematch vs Bradley but hes looking for a payday so I get why they want that fight. I agree with some of the posters hers saying Ruslan vs Maidana. That would be an epic matchup. The sad thing is there is not alot of options for Pac so I dont know. They might have to go with Ruslan but I hope not since they both friend. They would go easy on each other so f#ck it.
