Yes, of course that's a huge fight and Cotto isn't any better champion than Martinez was if he takes that fight before he gives the real middleweight champ GGG his long overdue chance to win the lineal middleweight title. The big money fight with Canelo would still be there for Cotto if he lost to GGG. It would not be as big a fight if he lost to GGG but it would still be huge. Canelo and Cotto are two of the biggest moneymakers in boxing and their loses don't seem to change that.

it definitely would generate a ton of money i know i would pay for it but i personally think that would be a bad decision on Cottos part i really dont think he would be able to deal with Canelo in the ring he is way too young way too powerful .....yes he lost to mayweather but he is the p4p king you cant hold it against him ... he said it himself he would never ever fight at a catchweight again he learned his lesson and is humble about it but regardless of all that ....Canelo > Cotto
