What many posters are failing to realize is that Haymon is just a manager. He's not a promoter. So even if fighters have a managerial contract with Haymon they are still free to sign with whichever promoter they please.

The fights had already been made, and the contracts were already signed prior to the GBP breakup. After all the fights on the schedule have been fought, then we can determine if they still have a working relationship or not.

What else would Haymon do. Fighters are with him because he can get them big fights. Big fights are on HBO or Showtime. Like others have said unless Schaeffer and Ellerbe and some other characters start a new promotional company months, years down the line, Haymon has little choice but to continue working with the major promotions/networks.
