I highly doubt a fighter like Porter has the same deal structure as Floyd. Although he may not be legally signed by GBP I'm sure they are making a certain percentage from his fights as he is not a high revenue generator. Floyd can get away with such a deal because he brings in massive amounts of money when he fights.Comment

For a Manager it is all about making Money for his Fighters, so I am sure that as long as the money is right for his fighters, I don't think Haymon cares which promotion his fighters fight for as long as his fighters get what they wantComment

The fights had already been made, and the contracts were already signed prior to the GBP breakup. After all the fights on the schedule have been fought, then we can determine if they still have a working relationship or not.Comment

Yeah, Porter probably pays a much smaller fee because its not a PPV event but I just wanted to know IF he had to pay a fee. For Floyd, the fee is all profit for GBP, any expenses has to come out of Floyd's pocket.I highly doubt a fighter like Porter has the same deal structure as Floyd. This gives the promoter a lot of power. They can charge whatever they want and say take it or leave it. It just doesn't make any sense why someone would sign exclusively to a manager who has to take a cut of your check to pay a promoter a fee on top of already getting a percentage of your earnings.Comment

You're better off signing up with GBP if you are a fighter. You don't want to limit yourself with only one network to fight in. DLH can both work with Showtime and HBO. How many Haymon fighters that have been on a long layoff? These are not rich people. They have families to feed.Comment

Not to mention Haymon is signing everyone and thier mother. How does he expect to showcase all his fighters when he's limited to one network? You're better off signing up with GBP if you are a fighter.
