Oscar just recently made some big moves, like ousting Shaefer and fixing his relationship with Arum. I'm sure as long as he keeps moving in this direction he will eventually have a relationship with his son, but you can't do all of that at one time. It's a little much to expect him to fix everything in like a month and a half.

If I ****** some ***** that didn't mean anything to me and that I never wanted anything to do with let alone get pregnant and we parted ways afterwards, I would have never ever wanted anything to do with that "son" either. I don't want to judge Oscar's situation because I don't really know it. I know he's had some problems and no one's perfect. But I don't understand why your reaction is to blame the kid before the Dad. A father is supposed to have a responsibility to his son before the son has a responsibility towards his Dad. In an ideal world, the Dad would just be a part of his son's life and there would be no need to question the son's motives because he wouldn't have to chase his Dad in the first place.

Its sad really, the kid only wanted to know his father, his mother kept telling him how great his dad was and that his dad loved him, only to find out later that his dad never cared.

I saw the video he has natural talent, but he is a nice boy, lacks some self esteem too, also he quit when he hurt his hand. But he def has skills to build on, but like you said he is only doing it in hopes that his father will notice him.

I hope he succeeds, apparently Fernando Vargas is training him now, imagine that Oscars enemy training his son.

Wouldn't it be something if he goes on to have a good career being trained by Vargas, then gets signed by Al Haymon, and joins Mayweather Promotions? Talk about Oscar's worse nightmare!

That would be pretty crazy. He makes it big, talks up Vargas and ****s on Oscar. Would serve Oscar well if all that's been said is true.

Still like I said, he looks soft and I am not sure he could make it in boxing if his sole motivation is to impress his dad or to prove him wrong. I wish him luck though.
