Life should be much easier for Curtis as a promoter these days..I do think his Floyd fall out kinda killed a lot of his momentum and we all know while Schaeffer was there he was also on the **** list alongside Arum, Dibella, Duva and every other non-gbp associated promoter. If this guy is smart he'll do ok as a promoter but he should be spending money to get at least another notable name in his stable in the welterweight and middleweight division.

Keep Hearing About 50 Cent & Al Haymon, BUT Have They Promoted Anything Meaningful???

They love the microphone. They love to climb in the ring and stand around like they are valid. But have they promoted anything meaningful, anything we look back and say, "That was a helluva Boxing Card!" These two rubes are non-factors. In fact, Floyd & Schaefer are about to join them as invalid. Floyd & Schaefer bank all on Floyd fights. Floyd has a few fights left, and then what? In the meantime, Oscar and Arum have mended their friendship, they want to bring great fights to Boxing again, and Top Rank is very deep in young talent. Remember you heard it here first. Mr & Mrs Floyd Schaefer is going to backfire on themselves, and in the end, GBP & Top Rank will dominate promotion of the best fights in the sport, then watch Floyd & Schaefer come sniffing around. There are already problems with Showtime, already holes with this MGM relationship. Stay tuned, Schaefer and the gangsters will fold like a cheap claimer.
