Cuban lightweight Yuriorkis Gamboa had a media workout on Thursday at the Iron Mike Productions Gym in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Gamboa answered some questions from the media, along with his promoter Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. Gamboa faces WBO lightweight champion Terence Crawford on June 28th at CenturyLink Center in Omaha. Both fighters have a 23-0 record with 16 knockouts.

"We are working very hard for this fight versus Crawford, we know that this is an opportunity that we must seize and our work in the gym is the key to winning that fight," Gamboa said.

Going with Crawford on this one ,the long layoff will hurt Gamboa and I like Him. I just think his chin won't hold up. I can see him winning early rounds but by the fifth I see Gamboa getting stop due to Fatigue.
They're looking at this fight thinking Crawford is very inexperience ,but all he got to do his bring his heart in which I think he does.

The closer this fight gets the more i feel Gamboa's going to win. I don't think Crawford's style will be a problem for Gamboa, at all.

It's all about styles. Gamboa wins 8 rounds to 4

gamboa is a short dude, only 5'5... but hes a mean guy, i think if crawford expects an easy night it could be trouble. crawford isnt knockin him out and if gamboa doesnt gas he has a good chance... ricky burns isnt as good as gamboa and he had moments, crawford was clearly winning the rounds but it was somewhat competitive

Gamboa is soooo soooo sick wit it and Crawford is the real deal.......Crawford already beat Mikey Garcia 18-6 in amateurs and Mikey is the one that recommended Crawford to Dunkin, this is gonna be amazing fight with two of the most skilled fighters in the world, I can't wait

Gamboa looks in great shape. As to the fight, I give the edge to Gamboa. I think he has more special effects as I like to say. His foot movement, speed, and combinations I think will trouble Crawford. Crawford has great patience but I think that attribute will work against him in a Gamboa fight. But this is one of the best matchups of 2014, no doubt.

I'd like Gamboa but he's fighting out of his Element at 135. He just is not big enough to fight at that weight. He gives up too much in the physical advantage department to Crawford in this fight.
I think he is better served going down to 130 .
