I thought Sergio didn't but he did spar for the Cotto fight during his training camp in Spain. Don't know how many sparring partners or rounds had. Don't know if he did spar during his camp in USA but he did in Spain. Here is the video from april of this year:

Looks like he is bending those knees and acting like Roy Jones. He knew with Cotto that would not work so he circled into Cotto's power hand and died in the 1st round.
