On August 1st, 2009, Devon Alexander captured his first world title when he stopped Junior Witter in 8 rounds to capture the vacant WBC junior welterweight belt. The fight took place at the Agua Caliente Casino in Southern California.

To this day that is Alexander's only professional fight on California soil. That changes on June 21st when he faces Los Angeles resident Jesus Soto Karass at the StubHub Center in the Los Angeles suburb of Carson.

I know I'm one of only 5 people, but I'm actually intrigued by this fight.

I don't see how Soto-Karass keeps getting big fights.

Big fights? Since when is Alexander a big fight? And btw they're both coming off of losses.

Maidana, Berto, Thurman, and Alexader. Those are big fights dog and all former champions! Well Thurman ain't, but he's one of the biggest up and comers in the game!

Opposed to someone like GGG fighting the likes of people they found off the streets of Kazakhstan.

Ok... He fell short vs Maidana so he fought Aydin and Berto who was coming off a loss. Then fell short vs Thurman and is now fighting another guy who's coming off a loss. I dont see anything wrong with that. You're acting like he's getting title shots.

No I'm not, I'm acting like he's still getting big fights, even with all his short-comings he's headlining the Staples Center.

Dude, what big fights?! This is Devon ****ing Alexander. The guy who gets boo'ed everywhere he fights. The same guy who can't draw flies even if he smelled like ****. He's getting no title spot, he's getting paid **** and he isn't fighting someone like Garcia or Khan.
