There you go. I don't even care if the clown duo Haymon and Schaefer part ways with Hoya. All I care about is seeing fights between named fighters that are already built up through years of fighting cab drivers. Broner vs Matthysse would be awesome. Both are Haymon fighters. Why are these types of fights not getting made? Would fans even care who manages these guys?

Broner vs Matthysse would be epic. Make it happen, Haymon.

Fighthype would rather talk about the world ending once Haymon/Schaefer leave GBP with their fighters. They don't like talking about the over-protectionism the clown duo have been doing for years. Thurman has yet to fight many Haymon fighters. Are you telling me they are all ducks?

They still need promoters to make and promote their fights. the only real difference seems to be that they don't have to sign long term contracts with a promoter. But what about Haymon? How long and how much are they paying him? How much of their purses does he get? It would be interesting to see the terms under which they sign with him. Is he really a promoter in disguise?
The concept of a fighter having his own management team in addition to having a promoter is nothing new and very common. This is what Haymon does, he's a manager. Did you see the article from the other day where Chavez Jr was irritated with Bob Arum because Arum doesn't want to negotiate with Chavez' *manager* Billy Keane? All top fighters have [or should have] some type of management team.
