Who has had the better career: Cotto or Darchinyan?

This came up in another thread and I thought it was an interesting comparison. How do you see it?

Not at all, they're pretty even. Vic has a problem, being in the lower weights, but he's a clear HOF

Your joking right!? It doesn't matter that he is in a lower weight class...so is Donaire. I give credit what ever weight class is. due...it's just not due in this comparison.

They have rather similar careers where they went on a long streak to the top then went about 50/50 with strong competition, but nobody in Darchinyan's weight classes is going to win any poll about anything VS someone wrapped up in the whole Floyd/Manny reality TV saga.

Better career? I'd say Cotto, because aside from having one of the best resumes (win/lose) like Vic he sold out arenas, PPVs, $ man and a superstar adored by millions. So although both went through hell it was Cotto that got rewarded better for his efforts, so hence why I'd say Cotto had a better career.
