Toney has a good chin but he rolls alot of punches so we don't know how good it really is

I can't put Mosley on this list cuz of what Vernon did to him

Margarito and Vitali are both retired so I don't count them as this era

I'm gonna go with Froch and Rios

Margarito withstood excellent shots but I couldn't see him being successful at that even at 154. Mosley stopped him, Daniel Santos rocked him pretty bad and Danny Perez put him on his ass. I don't mean to discredit him at all as he's in my top five but I'm hesitant to place him at #1.
You make some good points about Toney having a great chin from 160 all the way to heavyweight but you gotta bear in mind their styles. Margarito's defence was his face. Toney is/was obviously the more skilled fighter with a far better defence, so he didn't get hit flush anywhere near as frequently as Margarito.

You can make a case for either guy having the better chin though.

Froch. Takes huge shots well and when hurt he recovers ridiculously fast.

My honorable mention is Guillermo Jones, he fought from Welterweight to Heavyweight and he usually blocks punches with his head, its unreal. The shots he took in that Lebedev fight are just unbelievable.

Mosley fought Forrest, Vargas, Margarito, ODLH, Cotto, Mayorga, Pacquaio, all good to great punchers and only suffered 3 kds between them.

Also Winky Wright was visibly the stronger, larger, taller man and in two fights could drop a guy who started at lightweight and was never more than a average sized welterweight

              great chin....great beard
