Floyd doesn't have a business relationship with Oscar. As far as Floyd was concerned Schaefer was Golden Boy Promotions. Oscar was a no show boss for years.

Wait! People actually think that Mayweather was underneath the Goldenboy banner?

I thought this whole GBP disintegration made it clear that Schaefer actually held the power and that Mayweather only done business with the company due to Schaefer's pull. Now that Schaefer step down, Mayweather has no obligation to stick with the company especially since he has his own and partnered with Al Haymon who has all of GB stable.

What is clear is that Mayweather's power stems past the average pugilist in this sport.

That's been CLEAR for years!! Only his fans & him would say no. That fight don't mean anything anymore anyway..... It mattered YEARS AGO, but we all know who "retired" & made road block & excuses.

Seems to me that if you're serious about fighting a Showtime fighter you wouldn't become beholden to HBO.
Floyd locked himself in with Showtime before Pacquiao locked in with HBO.

Before Floyd locked himself in with Showtime Pacquiao wouldn't take the test. And Arum had to build a new stadium.

Don't kid yourself, Floyd is also to blame. Demanding all PPV money and paying Pac a flat fee while claiming his health comes first is called ducking.

But Pacquiao renewing his top rank contract like 2 weeks earlier meant nothing? Lol. Gotcha
