I thought this whole GBP disintegration made it clear that Schaefer actually held the power and that Mayweather only done business with the company due to Schaefer's pull. Now that Schaefer step down, Mayweather has no obligation to stick with the company especially since he has his own and partnered with Al Haymon who has all of GB stable.

Seems to me that if you're serious about fighting a Showtime fighter you wouldn't become beholden to HBO.
