The problem with GGG is that he lives in Germany. Which makes it that much tougher. If he lived in California and was exposed to it everyday I think he would improve.

For example Kovalev lives in Miami and his English is a lot better than GGG's imo.

I think his english has improved quite a bit. Watched for at least two minutes and understood every single word. He sounds no worse than your average foreign fighter speaking a second language.
