ward is a super middleweight and has stated he isnt ready to move up and fight anyone at 175 atm. it doesnt have jack **** to do with kovalev, he just doesnt feel he would be comfortable at 175 just yet.

dawson hasnt fought anyone since coming off two losses. say what you will about him but he never ducked anyone and he has fought much better and more accomplished fighters than kovalev. to say he doesnt want to fight kovalev before he has had a single comeback fight is beyond ******ed, typical fanboy just throwing in any name he can to boost his mans hype.

stevenson isnt lining up to fight him because he is going after a better fight against hopkins. hopkins is not only a legend, but even in recent years he has done better things than kovalev. beat better fighters and holds two belts as opposed to one. not to mention the fact that he brings in a lot more money, i know we arent talking about froch here so money goes back to being irrelevant. but still.

    the others, fair enough..

Never heard the expression 'who needs him club' before?

Where in the UK are you from? Up North?

Froch is an average sized SMW, he said he's more likely to move down than up. Ward won a gold medal at LHW.

He said he wanted to move up 2 years ago but Hunter told him not to. He's hanging around 168 hoping for a Chavez fight on PPV, which probably won't happen. The guy has all sorts of excuses for every fight that isn't happening and his Kovalev one is just the latest.

Blah blah, we all know the score. No one wants to fight krusher Kovalev, they all have their excuses.

He firmly belongs in this thread, instead of top contenders he has to fight the Cedric Agnews of the world.

I think stepping up in weight to face a champ is asking a lot, I don't think Kovalev is light at the weight either??

Then fight lesser opponents at 168. Bika would love a rematch and he deserves one, Dirrell bros, travel to Europe.

Incidentally, Bika's another name for your not needed club.

Watch him vs Ruslan, Alvarado and Garcia.

Altho he lost the Alvarado fight, he showed he can do some stuff. Like fighting off the ropes. IMO he lost that fight cause fought a dumb fight.

I just think out of weight it's a bit hard to say you are ducking. But that's just my opinion.

Yeah Bika unless your names Degale ;o)

Degale could join this club potentially....He is not as dangerous obviously
