    Is Mayweather Serious About Wembley/Khan

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has expressed his wishes to sell out Wembley Stadium. The undefeated boxer says he wants to mirror Carl Froch and George Groves, which took play over the weekend. Setting up a fight at Wembley Stadium would also suggest he’s ready to set up a match with Amir Khan

Khan hasn't proven himself at 147 to the degree that it warrants a Mayweather fight, but people forget he was already the frontrunner for May before Maidana made a statement against Broner. That would've been a pretty indefensible cherry-pick.

Although I've criticized Khan in the past, I don't really have an issue with the fight given that Khan at least has some things going for him that we don't as often see Floyd up against. Plus, I don't really think Maidana could improve upon his performance in the rematch, and I'd like to see Floyd's supposed "last few fights" against different fighters rather than waste some on rematches of fights he already won.

Can't he still fight at Wembley against another WW or JRWW other than Khan? Will the UK folks still come out to see the fight?

I doubt it, unless it's another British guy, but who would that be? Kell Brook? Frankie Gavin? LMAO

for the sake of discussion - if Floyd and Cotto were to fight again, do you think it would sell at Wembley? I think it all depends on the opponent should it be someone not from the UK.

I don't see it happening outside of the USA. England is 5 hours ahead, so if the fight is at 11PM EST that would be 4am English time.

Tbh its just rumours, Khan is a nightmare fight for Floyd I think Khan beats him and if the fight happens in the Uk I'd put all my money on Khan to beat Floyd. Mayweather is very smart and he won't fight Khan even in Las Vegas or anywhere, let alone the Uk.
