How hardcore of fans are we here on NSB?

Are we the true core of boxing diehards? How many people that just watching boxing if its on ESPN or their HBO channel they subscribed to for movies know that Top Rank and Golden Boy have issues? Did casuals even know who Richard Schaefer is? Do casuals still wonder who are these two twins always walking in the fighters?

I watch all top rank and gbp major events. All the cards on HBO boxing after dark and Shotime. I will watch ShoExtreme Under cards frequently. And any major fight on ESPN or any other channel. I seldom watch FNF on FoxSports1. And I record EVERYTHING on DVR so if I found out I missed a classic fight I can go back and watch it, even if the boxers are no-names.

I figure anyone who bothers to post on an online boxing forum is either a hardcore fan or a crazed nuthugger for a specific fighter.

If a fighter can speak spanish he will generally put on a good fight (aside from Miguel Vazquez the Mexican Willie Pep).. sometimes I'll turn on the TV and the spanish channel will have some replay of some Boxeo of some no name fighters.. they're fairly entertaining.

I watch almost every major ppv fight. I also watch shobox, friday night fights, weekly repeat cards on MSG, and all fights on HBO and showtime. I also pay attention to the behind the scenes stuff as much as possible. SOmetimes I watch the cards on the spanish language station with the sound off since I am not fluent. I also watch the GBP cards on FS1.

I would expect casual fans to only watch the major fights.

I would say many of the members are hardcore fans.

If you don't live in the UK, was the Froch-Groves II a major fight for casuals? I don't think it was. Kinna crazy to think that. Casuals would of loved it.

It did really good tv ratings in usa
