Tony Lopez was a great TV fighter in the 90's. He won the title from Rocky Lockridge I believe and had a great series of fights with John-Jon Molina. Also did a number on Joey Gamache when Gamache was being hyped up. If I'm not mistaken, I belieive he lost his title to Brian Mitchell. Someone might check me on that. Regardless, he was alot of fun to watch and never put on a bad show. Always a favorite of mine.

He was the greatest fighter to come out of sacramento and that is saying a lot. Sacramento was a hot bed for boxing from the 60's all the way up to the 90's and he was the best of them all.

He is a borderline hall of famer, but IMO should be in. Hes a three time world champion. He won the"fight of the year" with Rocky Lockridge which he won, who he beat twice. He won comeback fighter of the year. He beat John john Molina 2 out of 3. TKO Greg Haugen. Beat up Jorge Paez when Paez was at his peak. Fought Hall of Famer Brian Mitchell twice(draw and loss). Won his first title in 1988 and lost his last title in 1994 a very good 6 year run during the last golden age of boxing. He was a great fighter and IMO someone who should be in consideration into IBHOF.
