Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport is targeting late November or December to stage a Las Vegas event featuring the return of IBF/WBA 'regular' super middleweight champion Carl Froch. After drawing 80,000 fans to Wembley Stadium for his rematch with George Groves, Froch's dream is to headline a big card in Las Vegas.

The three options for Froch are Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Mikkel Kessler and James DeGale. Chavez Jr. is the only opponent capable of headlining against Froch in Vegas.

Sucks Golovkin/Chavez won't happen, but this fight makes more sense. What doesn't make sense is having it in November/December when Pac/Cotto are fighting then....Cotto most likely being PPV.

Laugh Out MFing Loud at Andre Ward... OMG!
Looks like this domestic fighter who just came off a domestic fight w/ 80K in attendance [combine all of Andre's fights as a headliner and I dont even think it equates to half/ 40K in attendance to watch him fight] will be getting Andre's dream fight [versus Chavez] and being the first one to hit PPV.
Honestly... if Andre cant move the needle on free HBO what makes him think people would drop +$60 to watch him on PPV?
He's a great fighter but not appealing to watch on TV.... especially for pay!
