Seating at Madison Square Garden???

Hey guys,

Hoping someone can make me feel a bit better about my purchase after another bad experience trying to get tickets for a fight. Long story short - I'm coming from Australia to watch Golovkin v Geale at MSG. Had access to presale the moment it started but best tickets ****** (Section 12 - $500) so I decided to wait out the public sale. Accessed that the second it started and seats were worst, best seats were Section 01, Row 6, Seats 1-4 ($300). Apart from the fact that is pi$$ed that again fans couldn't get access to any of the decent floor seats, I'm now stuck with a potentially bad seat after travelling across the world for this fight.

Can anyone tell me what the view from Section 01 is like? Is it better than Section 12, even though it's cheaper ($300 vs $500). Can I still walk around the rest of the flor level from Section 01? Any help would be much appreciated guys.

i've never been to a fight in MSG.

that said, you're travelling across the world to see a fight, bro.

if you can afford a better ticket, buy it. you'll never regret it.

you can watch the fight 1000 times later in life. you're only there for it once.

Not sure where that section is but I've been in the nose bleed section at MSG for a Cotto fight and it was a great view.

If you are floor section 1 , those look to be really good seats. You may even be sitting near some celebrities. Though sections 4,5,6 and 10,11,12 look like the best seats in the house.

Honestly every seat is a great seat at MSG.. I never get floor seats for fights anymore. Annoys the hell out of me when people stand up and don't sit back down.. Better to watch the fight from the 100 sections and closer rows. Just my opinion.. But yea any seat at the Garden is a great seat. I had tickets to the Cotto vs Martinez fight this pass weekend and I was in section 120 row 16. Great seats. Saw everything.

Thanks for the replies guys. The seats don't look too bad. I was thinking that Section 01 may be better than Section 12 as Section 12 looks like it could be blocked by the corner post if you're at ground level. Only problem is that the $300 were the best that I could get, couldn't even get the $500 seats after the presale, and even during the presale the only $500 seats available were in Section 12. Anybody got any experience sitting ringside at all?
