Them knees looked painful, but his looked like that his past several fights, ontop of that it was Miguel Cotto's left hook in the first round, if yall remember that hurt Martinez, Martinez wobbled backwards and probably hurt his knews trying to regain his equilibrium. Those knees were not hurt coming in.

Either way Cotto looked very very good, and would have still gave Martinez problems even if his knees were 100%. Martinez does good with guys that come straight at him with no defense (Murray, Paul Williams, Chavez, Pavelik) but a short tank boxing style pitbull fighting style like Cotto with good movement, and good ring generalship, and ability to cut the ring off on Martinez. Yeah, Cotto would have given Martinez a decent fight.
