The IBF is the laughing stock of the whole bowl of alphabet soup. Outside of Klitschko, Hopkins, and Porter...I wouldn't pick anyone wearing their strap to beat any other champion in their weight class.

Martinez (122), Vasquez (135), Peterson (140), Soliman (160), Froch (168), and Hernandez (CW) are capable of defeating at least one other titlist in their division.

Molina/K9 is a FNF match-up at best. I'll tune in for the other fights, but not for the main event.

I guarantee this doesn't get a penny over the minimum bid of 100k that must be submitted for a title fight. How do you lose the belt, beat a journey man then are awarded #1 contender again? IBF is a joke

If the fight takes place outside of Mexico and Molina is unable to travel, he will be considered unavailable and the title will be vacated. We would then order the two leading available contenders to fight for the vacant title.

That seems unfair. Can't Bundrage technically bid something ridiculous like 2 million in order to win the bid? Then force Molina to vacate so Bundrage can face an easier opponent for the vacant title. Presumably negotiations restart with the new opponent so they don't actually have to pay 2 million.

I was definitely being a bit critical of the IBF, but I don't know if I'd pick Martinez to beat Santa Cruz or Rigondeaux. I also don't know about Peterson over Garcia or Provodnikov. I'll agree with you on all of the other ones though.

And I know it can't happen because of money, but I'd love to see Cotto vs. Soliman in December for a unification match.

That is a little unfair even if Molina is awful to watch, as I understand it he had a 15yr old gf when he was 18. In the state I live in its not even illegal.
