Miguel Angel Cotto vs Bernadette Hopkins

I think its time Cotto tries to avenge the only real loss of Tito's career by fighting Bernard. Its the only way he would cement his name as the all time greatest of puerto rican boxing.

He should attempt the fight at a catchweight of 170 for Hopkin's lightheavyweight crown. I feel Cotto would walk through Hopkin's featherfisted punches and force him to try and headbutt Miguel like he did Tito. Miguel would then smartly uppercut the bigger man. Coupled with a pair of low blows, it would be 2001 all over again for Hopkins, only he would be at the other side of the dirty exchanges.

Cotto gets the decision, returns home a hero and is bestowed "The Peoples Champ" crown by Trinidad in the biggest parade the island has seen since 2001.

Where did you get the wrong and silly idea that one man can avenge another man's loss? It wouldn't matter if Cotto KOed Hopkins in the first round. Hopkins still has the win over my all time favorite Trinidad and nothing can ever change that. Hopkins would beat Cotto easily in my opinion. He could KO Cotto if he went for the KO or he could just win every round. Hopkins has been beating some of the best light heavyweights while Cotto recently lost a one sided ud to Trout who isn't even the best 154 pounder. I am sure Roach improved Cotto but he didn't turn him into Super Cotto. Don't you think all time great Hopkins deserves to have his name spelled correctly even if you don't like him?
